The Company of Animals boasts one of the richest heritages in animal research and care of any pet supply provider in the world. Dr. Roger Mugford (now a world-renowned animal psychologist) founded the Company of Animals (COA) in 1979, initially as a method to sell his revolutionary pet inventions to pet owners everywhere. Since then, the Company has continued to grow and innovate, producing some of the most tested and trusted dog care products on the planet. Since those humble beginnings nearly 40 years ago, the Company of Animals has grown to have suppliers, distributors and partners in over 30 countries. Based on a 100 acre working farm in Surrey, England, the COA is also home to the famed Training and Behavior Centre (also founded by Dr. Mugford), which is widely regarded as one of the finest pet schools in the country. Its canine experts specialize in all levels of dog training, behavioral consultations and veterinary referrals, as well as participating heavily in pet-related legal issues. Being on the front lines of the issues pet owners face every day has given the COA a truly unique perspective about their products; every item the Company makes is the product of extensive, hands-on research and development, all with the ultimate goal of providing pets and their owners with a richer, healthier life.
